The Way of the Visionary

According to Angeles Arrien, Indigenous people see there are 3 Kinds of Dreams:

A.  The Night Dream- The most sacred of Dreams

The most sacred Dream is the Night Dream.
Dreams that you remember are the dreams you are meant to work with.
Dreams that you don't remember are dreams of preparation, of future experiences.
Dream that you do remember are dreams you need to  consciously work with  and take action on.
So title your dreams as it acts like a magnet and you can remember them more easily.
Pay attention, especially when gathering for inner work or to do sacred work, like the DOWH-Dreaming In the Dark Series that starts on Sat. Jan 23/10.   The psyche wants to tell you what your work is rather than what you think is your work.  The call is to pay attention to your dreams before or after the class and, if yoiu like, come and share your dream images here.

Actions to take:

1.  Title your dream.

2.  Pull on  the essence of your dream.  Whether it was a symbol, an image, a sound, what is the heart of the dream.  Capture  the core, the visual,  the  emotional feeling of it.

3.  What action can you take?  Indigenous people take action on their dreams.  They bring it in the middle world, this world.  If you dream of someone, then the action would be to contact them, as it is 'a visitation of the heart.'  According to the indigenous, between midnight and 2:00am is the time when ancestor spirits (those that have passed on) come to visit.   So you might want to notice if you wake up at this time, your feelings, images you are left with.

Indigenous people also believe you negate the sacred when you do not take action on what has been given to you.  You might want to consciously take action too.

Carl Jung recognized when we do not take action on our guidance or the info given to us that is
a great source of depression.  It implodes on us because  we are not taking action on our guidance.

B. Day Dream-where you go when you are not here.  Mini-journeys, the day dream.

What is the positive dreams that keep repeating or you keep re-experienceing?
Pay attention to your positive day dreams.
In every positive day dream is a healing image.
The Day Dream set ups the template for a self fulfilling prediction as they are trial runs of new identities.  For example, you might be exploring the kind of job or the king of relationship you would like to have.
Know that the psyche tracks energy not what is good or bad.  So it will help along whatever has a lot of energy. Day dream is the place of the creative fire.  This needs to be tracked so you understand consciously what you want to place energy towards and not to get caught engaging what does not serve you.

C.  The Living Dream-where we are right now, in this literal world.
This is the external life, health, finances, work, creativity, relationships.
Our creativity creates our reality here.

So, I invite you to track the Sacred Night Dream, the Day Dream and how we are manifesting in our Living Dream.   I welcome you to come and explore these symbols, images, sounds, or other guidances from your psyche  that directly comes from the Dreaming In the Dark classes.  In this way you can honour your soul's desire.  I invite you to share your symbols and images here and how you are tracking them in your Dreaming.  Let's create a Dream Community.

Saturday January 23/10- DOWH-Dreaming In the Dark Series begins:

We will enter the Sacred Night Dream.  We will explore what our psyche wants to tell us about our own Fairytale Stories.  We will dance our way back to ourselves .  We will then create our won Fairytale based on what has arrived for us on Saturday and based on our calling in the Sacred Night Dream.
